The figure with only one eye

Tonight an unusual stiring wind can be heard on the
pond that lies by a small wooden structure. On a stone
ledge above the water, a figure gazes out into the
distance.  He holds a staff in one hand and a torch in
the other.  With an arched eyebrow over his one eye, he
gazes out into the open distant sky...

The silhouette of this figure blends in with the land
but is still visible..  As nightfall approaches, a
strange chatter comes from two ravens that sit perched
upon his shoulders. As the ravens continue to ramble,
darkness deepens in the open clear sky...

Does the mind of this figure hold the sight of the
future? .. and what about a name?  It has been said
that two ravens sat on the shoulders of the ruler of
the northern gods and spoke to him the ways of the
world.  Perhaps his name is the one given to the
highest and holiest of all the northern races: Odhinn,
with his two ravens Hugin and Munin.
